How many different models / styles are there?
At present, three models – "Euro" and "Professional" spectacles as well as the "Clip-On" for prescription wearers. There will be new shapes and sizes available soon for different requirements (such as children's sizes).

How long does CompuSpec take to get used to?
The adaption time varies between a few hours to a few days. In some instances, cosmetic factors (weight / different shape lenses) might influence the adaptation time.

Do I need to see an optometrist before I put on CompuSpec?
No. Relaxo CompuSpec is designed for consumer to purchase over the counter. It is non-prescriptive, and does not magnify or distort the view. You can simply put them on and wear them as soon as you get them.
 

     However, should eye strain discomfort continues with CompuSpec, Relaxo Australia recommends that you return the CompuSpec within 14 days in its original condition for full refund, and see your eye care practitioner for any other underlying problems.

Can it be used for anything else besides computer?
Yes. It can be used for any general close range focussing activities. Eg. Reading, playing video games.

Warning – Relaxo CompuSpec is designed for computer use and therefore should NOT be worn while driving or used as sunglasses.

Is CompuSpec a new invention?
No. But it is a new use for existing technology. The prismatic lenses used are well known and utilised in various ophthalmological practices. However, Relaxo CompuSpec is the first Non-Prescription product of its kind to adopt prismatic lenses for computer eye strain problems. Extra features were incorporated to make this product specially for computer usage.to top
 
Is CompuSpec the only answer to reduce computer eye strain?
We believe CompuSpec will go a long way in assisting people to reduce computer eye strain symptoms. However, here are a few extra things that can also assist:
•  maintain good lighting
have a good ergonomic setup around your computer
incorporate regular rest breaks while on computer
