Relaxo Australia believes that
CompuSpecs ability to reduce eyestrain symptoms will have far-reaching benefits to
organisations.
According to US statistics, approximately 88%
of computer users in the workplace suffer from some form of eyestrain. In a recent poll,
computer related eyestrain has become Americas number one office related health
complaint.
Relaxo Australia considers the CompuSpec as a
serious optical initiative in the challenge to reduce eye strain complaints in the
workplace.
Our aim is to see
corporations use CompuSpec as:
| |
an aid to create a healthier work
environment |
| |
a preventative device against future
workers claims |
| |
a productivity enhancer |
| |
a natural extension to using PCs |
| |
a good employee relation practice |
Since August 1999, Relaxo Australia has
conducted numerous workplace trials in conjunction with major Australian organisations
using CompuSpec. The results compiled have shown that not only did CompuSpec
prismatic lenses reduce eyestrain symptoms, a majority of employees have reported higher
concentration levels at work.
Today, some organisations that have adopted
CompuSpec as a pro-active solution for its workers experiencing computer-induced eyestrain
